VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Mel Galup, a teacher at Richard Gordon Elementary, is asking for some gardening advice. He is teaching his 9, 10 and 11 year old students how to grow vegetables and has access to two propane-heated greenhouses owned by the School District. Mel would appreciate some guidance on starting seeds, propagating cuttings and taking care of the greenhouses. This is a terrific opportunity to mentor the next generation of gardeners. For the Master Gardeners amongst us, the hours should be eligible for community service credit but please check with the Extension Office.
